Ingredients
1. Peel and slice the onion.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Fry the onion without coloring. Pour the chicken stock and bring to a boil.
3. Add the peas. Salt and pepper. Simmer for 35 minutes.
4. Cut the ham into small cubes.
5. Blend the soup until velvety texture. Pour it back into the saucepan. Add the heavy cream and diced ham and reheat over low heat for 5 minutes. Adjust the seasoning. Serve immediately.
