Falafel with tarator sauce

1. Drain and rinse chickpeas. Steam with the broad beans for 5 minutes only. Place in a food processor and blend with the finely chopped onions, baking powder, minced herbs, spices, beaten egg and flour. Place the batter in a bowl and cover with cling film. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the sauce: peel, remove the green germ and crush the garlic cloves in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and sesame cream. Whisk vigorously with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of shower, until smooth. Taste, add salt and pepper to your liking.
3. Form small balls by rolling them between your hands. Heat a little oil in a deep frying pan. Dip the meatballs and fry over medium heat until browned on each side. Remove with a slotted spoon, drain on paper towels and serve hot with the sauce.
