Asia

From New York, to Peru, Paris and Japan, don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet and witness world renowned chefs during this year’s edition of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, held from March 6th till March 9th.

On the first day, all fine dining lovers can dive right in with four ‘Maestro Dinners’, hosted by prestigious establishments for an exclusive dining experience. International chefs Daniel Humm, Will Guidara, Virgilio Martinez, Gaggan Anand and Gaston Acurio will line up with some of the finest Singapore-based chefs such as Andre Chiang, Julien Royer, Daniel Chavez and Ivan Brehm to whip up a unique dinner menu for the lucky guests. Be sure to reserve a spot stat if you want your taste buds tickled with delectable flavours.

Now, moving on to the next highlight - have you ever dreamt of watching celebrity chefs work inside their kitchens? Mostly, wondering what it’s like behind their culinary styles and vision? Well, here’s your chance with the ‘Masterclasses’ series.

This year, four outstanding workshops will be waiting for you, showcasing techniques, signature dishes and one will even present the creation of a brand new dish! And for the first time, the event will also be holding a wine workshop led by accalaimed wine expert, Tan Ying Hsien.

These 2-hour sessions are a promise to observe chefs at work with a front-row seat, so, do take the opportunity to chat with them and sneak in a taste – obviously!

As for the more serious foodies among us, head to the ‘Summit’ on March 8th. Themed, ‘The New Modern: 2015 and Beyond’, the culinary conference will discuss various topics, from the tension between tradition and innovation, art and business, to the Asian modern cuisine. Chefs Yannick Alleo and Janice Wong along with the ones mentioned above will be sharing their ideas and challenges faced. Attend the Summit and you might also learn what to expect for your next restaurant visit.

Last but not least, stay tuned for the official announcement for the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants on March 9th! We’re already salivating at the sheer thought of the entire event – now to get our stomachs ready !
