1. Slice thinly beef tenderloin into strips. Peel and slice onions. Drain and rinse the bamboo shoots.

2. Heat the oil in a pan and sweat the onions until they are translucent. Add the beef strips. Sprinkle with sugarsoy sauce and nuoc-mâm sauce. Pepper. Cook for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring, until caramelized.

3. Reduce heat. Add the bamboo shoots and adjust seasoning. Stir and cook for 3 minutes on low heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Our tip: Before using sesame seeds, quickly brown in a heated non-stick pan.
