As a starter or side dish, make a feast with fresh vegetables. Here is an easy recipe to cook steamed vegetables

  Ingredients

1. Peel potatoes and carrots, then cut into cubes. Cut away the stems and the root end of the fennel bulbs. Slice into thin strips. Cut broccoli into florets. Wash all the vegetables. Peel and slice the onion. Squeeze the lemon

2. Place all vegetables in the basket steamer, add the star anise and cook for 25 minutes. Salt and pepper.

3. Divide the vegetables into ramekins, sprinkle with olive oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Decorate with a star anise. Serve warm or cold.

Our tip: Sprinkle with fresh herbs (dill and coriander).
