White and dark chocolate mousse
Give yourself a treat with this white and dark chocolate mousse. Follow carefully our easy recipe.
1. Prepare the white chocolate mousse: Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler with a tablespoon of water, soften gelatin leaves in a bowl of cold water, separate the whites from the yolks and whisk the yolks with the sugar. Let cool the chocolate and add the yolks and sugar mixture, mix well.
2. Drainthe gelatin leaves, let melt in a little hot water and pour into the mixture while whisking. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks, then fold into the before adding them to the mixture. Store in the fridge.
3. Prepare the dark chocolate mousse: break the chocolate, let melt in a double boiler, stirring occasionally. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and place the whites in the fridge. When the chocolate is smooth, pour it into a bowl, add the yolks while whisking. Whip the cream, sprinkling icing sugar over it. Gently fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate.
4. Beat the egg whites until very stiff with a pinch of salt. Incorporate, little by little, gently to the preparation. Divide the two mousse into glasses and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
