Kefta meatballs
Making Middle-Eastern food has never been easier with this simple recipe for Kefta meatballs. Perfect for meat lovers at the dinner table.
1. Peel and chop the onion. Cook the onion over low heat in a pan with 20 g of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add 1 tablespoon of honey, the salt and freshly ground pepper. Leave it to caramelise for 5 minutes.
2. Wash and chop up the chervil. Cut the blue cheese into small pieces.
3. Mix the sausage meat in a bowl with the caramelised onions, blue cheese, chervil, cumin, salt and pepper.
4. Roll the meat into balls by hand then flatten them slightly. Sprinkle 40 g of flour and cook with 2 tablespoons of hot olive oil in a pan, turning the meatballs regularly.
5. Place two meatballs on a skewer and enjoy.
Our cooking tip: You can replace the sausage meat with ground lamb and for an Oriental twist, replace the chervil with cilantro.
