Burgundy escargots

Burgundy escargots are among the classics of French cuisine. Here is a recipe to prepare them easily.

1. The day before, prepare the butter. Cut the butter into pieces and let soften at room temperature. Wash, dry, thin out and chop finely parsley. Peel and chop the garlic and shallot.

2. Work the butter with your hands until a creamy consistency. Add the parsley, garlic and shallots and mix well. Cool and refrigerate overnight.

3. The day of preparation, remove the escargots out of their shells. Preheat the oven on grill position. Put a little garlic butter in the bottom of each shell, then insert the escargot back and fill the shell with butter. Arrange the in an escargot serving dish

4. Bake for 5 minutes, until the butter is simmering. Serve immediately.
