White cookies with dates
Here is an easy and inexpensive recipe to prepare cookies filled with dates. These cookies are perfect for Christmas Eve.
1. Melt 250 g butter and clarify with the following process: pour the melted butter in a plastic container. Store it in the chiller, until the butter freezes. Unmold and easily remove whitish solids.
2. Using a robot or an electric whisk, combine 350 g sugar and butter until the volume has tripled. Pour gradually 500g sifted flour, and stir gently.
3. Roll the dough into balls of the size of a walnut, make a small hole, slide pieces of dates coarsely chopped.
4. Roll them and place on a nonstick baking sheet and bake them for 10 to 15 minutes to th. 5-150°C. Enjoy the cookies when they are cold.
